The Creative Learning Center program of Highland Baptist Church exists to reach out to preschool children and their parents within the church and the community. We have developed a Christian preschool learning program which teaches children a love for Jesus and an understanding of themselves, their families, and others. Our staff accomplishes this through Bible stories, creative art, music, and free play as they grow in awareness of God and His love for them. We strive to develop the whole child—spiritually, socially, and intellectually.

Christian PHONICS Based Learning
Classes available for ages 2-4 years old
Maximum Children per class:
- 2 year old (10 kids per class)
- 3 year old (14 kids per class)
- 4 year old (16 kids per class)
Meet the Team
DIRECTOR
Leah Touchet is a native of New Iberia and lifelong member of Highland Baptist Church. Has been part of the Creative Learning Center Ministry for 15 years.
Teachers
All of our teachers have been employed with CLC for 8+ years and all have background checks and health statements. All staff is trained in CPR & first aid.
Associate teachers
All of our associate teachers have been employed for 5+ years and all have background checks and health statements. All staff is trained in CPR & first aid.
